Marc SIMONCINI (47): CEO and founder of Meetic and Jaïna Capital. Marc is one the leaders of the French new economy. As soon as 1989, Marc launched his first company, Opsion Innovation IT Services which was specialised in developing interactive solutions under UNIX. In 1998, he launched the iFrance network in France, Switzerland, Quebec and Belgium successively, selling it to Vivendi in April 2000. He then intervened as an advisor and business angel in various start-ups before setting off on a totally new adventure in founding Meetic at the end of 2001. Launched in July 2002, the website Meetic.com became quickly a real phenomenon in France. Eight years after its commercial launch, Meetic has established itself as the European leader in online dating, with over 40 million profiles registered since its creation. Through its acquisition of the European activities of the world leader Match.com in June 2009, Meetic has strengthened its first place on the continent. The group is currently established in 16 European countries, as well as in Latin America, and is available in 13 languages. Meetic posted sales of €157.9 million in 2009 and is listed on the Euronext Paris stock market (FR0004063097- MEET). For the last 10 years, Marc is a business angel in several internet companies, including 1000Mercis and Winamax. In early 2010, he has launched his own venture fund, Jaïna Capital, in order to help talented entrepreneurs to succeed. Marc is an ESI graduate.

Marie-Christine LEVET (43): Partner. Marie-Christine is one of the internet pioneer in France and has been the founder and manager of major companies in that industry for the last 13 years. Marie-Christine started her career as a consultant for Accenture, before joining Disney, and then Pepsico, where she acquired an experience in managing consumer brands. As early as 1997, she founded Lycos in France in order to launch the French version of the search engine, and develop the company by a strong acquisition policy (Caramail, Spray and Multimania). In 2001, she became the CEO of Club-Internet, 3rd French ISP and subsidiary of T-Online France / Deutsche Telekom, where she strongly developed the ADSL market share, as well as its TV and VOD offer. She sold the company to Neuf Cegetel in 2007. From 2008 to 2010, she was the CEO of Groupe Test, 1st high-tech information group (01net.com, 01Informatique, Micro-Hebdo, Ordinateur Individuel...), managing as well the internet activities of Nextradiotv. Marie-Christine joined Marc Simoncini to develop Jaina Capital in April 2010. Marie-Christine Levet is a board member of Iliad (Free). Marie-Christine Levet is a graduate from HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and holds a MBA from INSEAD.

Charles-Henry TRANIÉ (40): Partner. Charles-Henry has more than fifteen years of experience as an entrepreneur and a venture capitalist in the high-tech industry both in France and in the Silicon Valley. Charles-Henry started his career at the French Parliament as a MP's advisor where he was involved in drafting and amending legislation, focusing on Telecommunication deregulation and Interactive Services. In 1997, he co-founded a web agency focusing on e-commerce websites. After an experience as an M&A lawyer at Linklaters, he is hired in 1999 by Viventures, the venture arm of Vivendi Universal. He joined in 2001 the San Francisco office where he invested in several start-ups in the internet, video games and semiconductor industries, including MeqiaQ (acquired by Nvidia) and Terraplay (acquired by End2End). In 2005, Charles-Henry moved back to France and joined as VP Business Development the founding team of 118 218, which became the leader of voice directory service. Charles-Henry joined Marc Simoncini to develop Jaina Capital in March 2010. Charles-Henry is a graduate from Edhec, earned a Master in Business Law (Paris V) and an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
